Raguel

Basics

Raguel is one of Seven Archangels. His name means ‘Friend of God” and he is the Archangel of justice and vengeance.

He is a warrior and has fought in many heavenly wars in God’s name.

When an angel sins Raguel is often the one that handles their punishment or even exiles the angel. He also handles the punishment and discipline of exceptionally sinful humans and demons.

Since Raguel spends most of his time in Heaven he is a little naive. He doesn’t understand much about the human world and their behaviors.

Appearance

Raguel is 6’6 and bulky muscles. He looks like the ideal angelic warrior.

His hair is naturally white, but he often dyes it darker to have a more intimidating presence.

He doesn’t really think much about his appearance. All angels are made to be perfect so he knows he is attractive, but he has no idea how alluring he is to others. He wouldn’t consider himself hot.

When it comes to his angelic feature they are the peak of beauty. His wings are longer than a normal angel’s and a pristine white. His Halo is soft gold and it has a glow to it that dares one's eyes to it. Typically his halo rests in his hair like a crown. When he is making a dramatic entrance or trying to show his status it will hover an inch or so above his head.

Raguel has spent most of his existence training to be the perfect archangel. He had a near perfect body. He also takes leg day very seriously so he has very thick thighs.

Despite his many battles he has no scars.

To control all of his grace and powers he has a multitude of runes all over his body. They are in the old language of the angels and are a light golden color. At a simple glance the runes look like tattoos of golden ink.

Abilities

He is a well trained warrior proficient in hand to hand combat and sword play.

Raguel is able to fly, but mostly he teleports to where he wants to go. When he appears and vanishes it is accompanied by a light crackling sound similar to lightning.

He has exceptional hearing and vision. His body also heals quickly. It takes a weapon from Heaven or Hell to cause any real damage.

personality

He is very cold and emotionless when he first meets someone. Raguel is a bit kinder to angels, especially archangels since he has spent so much time around them.

It’s very hard to change his mind. He is a bit stubborn. When it comes to his faith and being righteous, there is almost nothing that can change his mind

Being an Archangel means he spends most of his time in Heaven dealing with other angels. Raguel does not understand a lot of things about the human world.

Specifically he does not understand intimacy. He believes that sharing a bed in any way is a sin for an angel. He doesn’t understand why people risk hell for physical pleasure.

Dark themes

Raguel does not hold back when he is punishing someone for their sins. He can be ruthless in doing what he thinks is fair. He believes that his punishments are saving people and giving them a clean slate.

Once time he was responsible for punishing an angel that disobeyed his direct orders. He clipped the young angels wings so he couldn’t fly again. It’s one of the harsher punishments that Raguel has delt out. It is a great shame for an angel to have their wings and not be able to fly with them.

One wall in his office is full of Halo’s that he has taken from angels that he has punished. He had golden little name plates under them identifying who each one previously belonged to.

If he ever has to remove an angels wings he would certainly mount them on the wall of his office as well.
